Part of the role of the National LADO Network is to encourage and create opportunities for Development and training in Allegations Management.

The National LADO network has organised a number of annual Conferences where LADOs have been able to come together to share ideas, compare work and experiences and generally seek support from peers.

These conferences have been held as follows

2015 Manchester

2016 Bristol – Following this conference the National LADO Network was formed and led by the South West Region.

2017 London

2018  Birmingham

2019  Doncaster

2020  London

2021  The Conference was planned to take place at Gateshead but with the arrival of Covid, the conference had to be cancelled,

2022  As a result of Covid, a Virtual Conference on Line was held

2023  As a result of Covid, a Virtual Conference on Line was held

2024  Manchester

In addition, the Network also circulates newsletters with news of interest to LADOs and Allegations Management and is developing a programme for  Induction for newly appointed LADOs.
